The Spitzvilla.
One of the most beautiful places on Lake Traunsee since I was a child. Previously a destination to eat ice cream and explore the playground right by the lake. A few years later, the spitzvilla has lost none of its charm and beauty. Only the food has gotten better. Not the cheapest in terms of price, but still very good. The ambience, a dream. Top
Very nice place! Unfortunately, despite the expensive prices, the food is only mediocre. E.g. Small schnitzel with old potatoes.

Beautiful location, staff very friendly and quick, food okay
This beautiful place has been run down over the last years, and our recent visit (which will also be our last one) surprised us with awful food. Everything from the not-so-well-cleaned starter salad, the overcooked fish main course with soggy and tasteless “risotto” to the strange Tiramisu was subpar. And boy was it expensive - absolutely not worth it. A shame, given the prime lakefront location.
For me one of the most beautiful cafes on Lake Traunsee. Fantastic location, great view. Therefore also higher price range.
